Bear
Spirit Grounds is a three acre woodland located in north eastern
Tennessee. It is dedicated to Native spirituality, and meditation.
Native peoples come in groups or as individuals to walk the Sacred
Circle Trail, see or use the ceremonial water fountain, and view
features such as the Bear Drink, The Hands Of Meditation, Three Braves
Point, The Little People Lodge, The Winter Hot House, and the three
dimensional Medicine Wheel. It is a place to step out of the fast
pace of modern life and seek to honor the ancestors, the spirit of the
bear, and to remember tranquility that used to pervade this domain of
the Cherokee and other Native brothers and sisters.
